Our building is filled with books, toys, and other stimulating activities, and our grounds are set for all sorts of fun and games (whenever Iowa’s weather is agreeable).

Registering Your Child

All children who attend Mary Elizabeth Child Care & Preschool must be potty-trained. If you would like to register your child in the Mary Elizabeth Child Care & Preschool. Please review the Preschool Registration Requirements and downloadable forms and once all information is gathered please call us at (712) 258-1605 to set up a meeting with our director.

Please understand we do have a waiting list based on age.

Preschool Registration Requirements:

Your child’s birth certificate
Up-to-date physical and immunization records
If either parent or guardian is a student, their class schedule
If the parents or guardians participate in a special program such as Iowa or Nebraska Child Care Assistance or PROMISE JOBS, their case worker’s name and phone number
If the parents or guardians work, their pay stubs from the previous month. If the parents or guardians just started a new job, they should provide a letter from their employer on company stationary listing work hours and rate of pay

S.H.I.P.

S.H.I.P. grants From the (No Child Left Behind Initiative) enables Siouxland children to receive a quality early childhood experience with out the burden of expensive preschool costs. Scholarships are available based on your child’s age and income.

Promise Jobs can assist you with your child care expenses while you are going through a month of training, a job search, and or while you are a student. Information is available at WITCC, and Job Service of Iowa.
